I can't believe it's December already! I hope all you American folks are suitable satiated with turkey. While I love a good pie, I think my favourite part of the meal is the stuffing...and nothing fancy or homemade, either, just the $2 StoveTop stuff from the box. Maybe it's just the nostalgia, but I could eat a pot of that stuff...
Aside from the titular White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookie, macadamias don't crop up too often in recipes. Here we pair the sweet, oily nut with its more bitter cousin, the walnut, for a super-creamy spreadable treat. Macadamias can be expensive, but Trader Joe's has a good price for a 1/2lb bag.
Macadamia Walnut Butter
- 1/2 cup roasted unsalted macadamia nuts
- 1/2 cup raw walnuts
Add nuts to blender and blend on high for 1 minute, stopping halfway through to scrape down the sides.
